This women's-only reprisal of the Air Jordan 7 is a retro release meant to reprise many of the original's characteristic features. The shoe's most salient feature, however, is probably its glossy and polished patent leather upper. The leather covers the upper in its entirety, but there are also stitching patterns that mark off various sections. There is a bright Crimson Jumpman logo on the side of the collar, and the number 23, which was Michael Jordan's jersey number, is written in bright Crimson upon the heel. The word "JORDAN" is written in Crimson letters upon a section of the tongue that is covered in a shiny Smoke Gray leather overlay. The sole is made from black, Crimson, and purple rubber.
