Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele garnered legions of fervent, new Gucci fans when he debuted the Gucci GG Marmont bag emblazoned with an updated, ‘70s-inspired take on the storied design house’s classic logo. And, to the delight of fans, he also added a whimsical, signature embroidered heart detail on the back. Even the bag’s namesake — a nod to illustrious Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont — embraces an old guard-meets-new world aesthetic.
