The much-maligned “dad sneakers” of the ‘90s, complete with thick soles and color combos that were once considered cringe-worthy, are now footwear’s freshest looks! Top athletic brands and designers resurrected and reimagined the styles turning them into a street style phenomenon from Paris to Portland.Leading the charge is Balenciega artistic director Demna Gvasalia, who created one of the most covetable styles with Balenciega’s Triple S, named for its three soles.
